Reinhard Plank
Reinhard Plank's path began in Vienna, with his studies of industrial design and early investigations into the relationship between human beings and objects, as well as the interrelationships between people. Currently, he works in his atelier near Florence, surrounded by nature and surrounded by his team. His creations show how individuals deal with the idea of personal space, protecting or challenging it.
Observation, experimentation and lightness are the key elements that animate each of Reinhard Plank's creations. When the hat mold is lifted, there is no return. Discarded matter, rejected ideas, and all imagined possibilities no longer exist. What remains is only what must remain. Knowing how to give something up, that is the secret of all creation.
